Information reaching Blueoceana Company has us understand that a 71 year old as-yet-unnamed worker was the victim of an accident that occurred at the Bayway Terminal\/Refinery [Linden, New Jersey] in the early afternoon of 19 January 2026. Available media accounts (See<\/em> below) indicate that the worker was engaged in filling an ISO tank container with a petroleum distillate (mineral oil) product when he apparently fell into the tank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unknown at this point in time, is whether the fall itself caused his death or if his life was claimed by the atmosphere that was developing within the tank container.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
