The media account linked-to below speaks of the accident, characterizing it, in the words of the terminal operator&#8217;s spokesperson, as &#8220;an unfortunate safety incident.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Admitted to hospital that morning, Mr. Messervey&#8217;s condition subsequently worsened and prompted mechanical life support intervention. Such intervention was apparently withdrawn on Saturday, 15 March 2025, after hope for his recovery was deemed unsustainable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends and
