News reaching Blueoceana Company has us understand that a 65 year old marine terminal worker at Ocean Terminal, Hong Kong was killed on the afternoon of October 19, 2023, when the industrial truck he had been operating went off the edge of Beiqaeo Pier in the city’s Tsim Sha Tsui district; carrying him with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Media reports (See<\/em> links below) indicate that the worker, known to us only as “Chen”, had been moving palletized materials and during that process dismounted the industrial truck he had been operating on one of the terminal’s inclined ramps. The machine apparently kept on moving and Chen attempted to bring it to a stop.
