Juan Esono Nnembeng, 27, a docker at the port of Bata [Equatorial Guinea], died in an apparent fall aboard <strong>M\/V PORT GYDNIA<\/strong> (<em>See<\/em> photo below) in the early morning hours of 07 October 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our understanding, is that while loading the vessel heavy rains were encountered which motivated stevedoring management to cease operations and call all workers off the ship until the weather moderated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In anticipation of recommencing work, the body of Mr. Esono Nnembeng was discovered in one of the vessel&#8217;s hatches&#8230;. the apparent victim
