In that accident, 26 year old longshore worker Mr. Atiroa Tuaiti is said to have fallen from a deck stowed container aboard Singapore-flagged <strong>M\/V CAPITAINE TASMAN<\/strong> (See photo below) while the vessel was starboard side to at a facility operated by the stevedoring company, Wallace Investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further particulars as to cause\/prevention are matters of conjecture at present, but we do know that Mr. Tuaiti&#8217;s employer is (according to the firm&#8217;s website) ISO 45001-certified.
