On the evening of 28 May 2021, at the Mediterranean port of Castell\u00f3n, M\/V NAZMIYE ANA <\/strong>(See<\/em> photos below) a small container feeder ship, became dangerously unstable at dock during cargo operations and then completely capsized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initial reports indicated that a possible 10 individuals (merchant mariners and dock workers) were thrown into the water. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As time passed, however, we learned that at least one crew member (an Indian national) had perished and at least one dock worker was missing and presumed dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of today (01 June) no further information has been made available through media sources. The 36 year old docker (know to us only as “David”) remains unfound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
