With great regret, Blueoceana Company has been informed of the workplace death of a 35 year old mechanic (known only as DZ at present) at a large (transshipment) container terminal located at the port of Gioia Tauro (Calabria), Italy yesterday (19 August).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The worker was performing maintenance on a terminal bus used to convey longshore workers to various points throughout the facility, when he was crushed by\/between another bus that was transiting his work area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
