04 May 2019]"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With great regret, Blueoceana Company has received several reports this morning which would have us understand that Nicol\u00e1s Enrique Carbon\u00f3 L\u00f3pez, a longshore worker in the employ of the Carbosan terminal, and Aung Myo Thet, a merchant seaman, both suffered fatal injuries in an accident while using the gangway of <strong>M\/V SAZUKU<\/strong> at Santa Marta port, Colombia on Saturday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From translated press reports and other sources (see links below), we know that a heavy sea caused the bulk carrier&#8217;s gangway to become unshipped, and as it fell the gangway came down upon the two workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seaman was killed instantly;
