One Marine Terminal Worker Fatally Crushed On Dock by Containers Falling From Ship; Second Worker Seriously Injured [Nhava Sheva Freeport Terminal, India – 06 July 2026]

Information reaching Blueoceana Company would have us understand that Mr. Armit Prasad, 19, was crushed to death while assisting in the offloading of oily waste from C/V DALIAN (See photograph below) into a dockside tank receptacle. News accounts allege that a stack of four (4) empty containers fell out of deck stowage and landed atop Mr. Prasad and a seriously injured colleague during rainy/windy conditions being experienced at the Western India Nhava Sheva Freeport Terminal this morning.
