Port Worker Decapitated In Conveyor Belt Incident  [Vung Ang Port, Vietnam  – 15 September 2025]

In what can only be described as a horrific accident, a 36 year old bulk cargo marine terminal worker lost his life at the Cat Phu Co, Ltd’s import wood chip facility in Vung Ang port [Wharf No. 2], Vietnam on the very early morning of 15 September 2025.

Both of the media reports available to us indicate that Mr. Tran Cong Dao “…poked his head into the gap between the conveyor belt [and an undisclosed object] and the moving conveyor belt cut off his head.
