Dockworker Foreman Fatally Injured in Vehicular Incident [Antwerp, Belgium – 13 May 2025]

Advice provided to Blueoceana Company has us understand that Eddy Roefs, a veteran 51 year old docker operations foreman at the PSA-run breakbulk terminal at Antwerp port was struck by the trailing unit of a tractor-trailer combination at a curve on one of the marine terminal’s roadways on Tuesday morning 13 May 2025. Mr. Roefs experienced fatal injuries as a result. He leaves behind a wife and three children.
