From a friend based in the United Kingdom, Blueoceana Company has learned of a fatal accident which occurred aboard the Ro-Ro carrier M/V LAURELINE [Cobelfet Line, Maltese flagged] during load back operations at the Purfleet facility on the Thames [London, UK] on 13 July 2024.

Our friend relates that a merchant mariner was struck by a reversing tractor-trailer combination on an unnamed deck while participating in the vessel’s operation and suffered fatal injuries as a consequence.
