Port Maintenance Worker Fatally Injured In Bulk Terminal’s Weigh Scale Incident [São Francisco do Sul, Brazil – 21 June 2024]

Information just reaching Blueoceana Company has us understand that Mr. Jaci Antônio Correa, 52, a port maintenance worker conducting operations on the Santa Caterina Bulk Terminal’s (TGSC) weigh scale at the port of São Francisco do Sul, Brazil, was killed while servicing that apparatus on the morning of 21 June 2024.

This export grain terminal is owned entirely by the Bunge Corporation of St Louis, Missouri.

The one media report that has been made available to us (See below) reveals no attributes as to specific cause; a search for additional information has turned up nothing more.

We will continue to search for more information. If and when it may be found, this post will be updated.
