Information coming to Blueoceana Company reveals that Sr. Antonio de Jesús Jiménez, 23, a supervisor employed by Puertos Especializados Transnacionales (PETRA), died by suffocation last Monday morning (15 July 2024) when buried by a deluge of corn grain that let loose within a grain silo at PETRA’s Veracruz port export terminal.

Media accounts related that there was an apparent jam within one of the grain terminal’s silos, and during sweeping operations the jam became free and trapped the young supervisor beneath it.
