Information coming to Blueoceana Company speaks to a fatal accident that occurred at Ho Net port (Quang Ninh Province), Vietnam on 09 November 2022. In that accident, we’re made to understand that the operator of a floating crane was killed when the superstructure of his lifting appliance came apart during bulk coal transfer operations, allowing the crane’s upper column, boom and the occupied cabin to fall onto the crane’s barge. Known to us only as “Mr. LVT.”, he died later in the day at a nearby hospital.
