Port Maintenance Worker Fatally Crushed While Dismantling Transport Equipment [Leixões, Portugal – 18 October 2022]

With great regret, Blueoceana Company has learned of an accident that claimed the life of a 32 year old M&R worker who was killed in an industrial accident at the port of Leixões, Portugal on the afternoon of 18 October.

Reports coming to us indicate that the worker was dismantling equipment used in the transportation of molasses cargo, when a two ton piece fell on him.
