Late arriving information coming to Blueoceana Company from sources in Europe, indicates that a 30 year old dock worker was crushed between a vehicle (excavator) being discharged from the Italian flag roll-on/roll-off vessel M/V ML FREYJA (See photo below) and another piece of stowed cargo on the morning of 25 July 2022.
The unnamed worker was evacuated to a local hospital, where he died of injuries sustained the following day.
