From a colleague at Bremerhaven, Blueoceana Company has been made to understand that an over-the-road truckman was the victim of a fallen container accident while at an intermodal freight depot within the port on 12 April 2022.
News articles linked-to below relate that the unnamed truckman was standing near a container stack, observing a reach stacker operator engaging a container, when either the container being engaged or another close by fell from the stack and onto the truckman.
He was instantly killed.
