Stevedore Manager Fatally Crushed By Falling Windmill Turbine Housing [Taranto, Italy – 22 March 2022]

Blueoceana Company has learned that Massimo De Vita, 45 years old and the father of two, a former employee of Taranto Container Terminal; who was currently employed by a stevedoring firm engaged in servicing non-container vessels at that facility, suffered traumatic fatal injuries on 22 March of this year (3 weeks ago) when a large steel frame designed to support/house windmill turbine blades fell from a vessel he was supervising the loading of.
