Over-The-Road Truck Driver is Victim In Port Drowning Death [Laem Chabang, Thailand – 19 February 2022]

Information coming to Blueoceana Company relates that a 25 year old over-the-road commercial vehicle operator drowned this morning, when his tractor/chassis combination apparently went out of control and plunged into the harbor at Laem Chabang port, Thailand.

Local police were immediately notified and dispatched a rescue dive team to the stern of C/V WAN HAI 275, berthed port side-to at an as-yet unnamed Laem Chabang container terminal. Our understanding is that the driver, Mr. Anucha Wanthikul, did not survive.
