News arriving from Taiwan instructs us that Chen Nan, a 59 year old dock worker that nation’s Suao port, was working in the hold of an unnamed vessel with three other colleagues when a 1.1 Ton super bag loaded with a chemical cargo fell from overhead stowage and crushed him to death.
Media coverage is confined to two news accounts (See link below), which add little more to the fact line apart from theorizing that heavy weather may have played a role in the stowed super bag’s displacement.
