Truckman Struck; Run Over & Killed By Rubber Tired Gantry Crane [Paranaguá, Brazil – 18 December 2021]

With great regret, Blueoceana Company has been made to understand that an [unidentified] over-the-road commercial vehicle operator was struck, overcome and fatally injured by a gantrying RTG two days ago (18 December 2021) at Terminal de Conteineres de Paranaguá (TCP) in the Port of Paranaguá, Brazil.

The fact that the truck driver was out of his cab and apparently unaware that the crane was moving towards his position is uncomfortably memorialized by the video clip found below.
