Intermodal Depot Worker Fatally Crushed Beneath 20′ Container [Singapore – 01 October 2021]

Late arriving news coming to Blueoceana Company, provides that a 49 year old unnamed intermodal depot worker was crushed to death at the Allied Container intermodal facility in the Pioneer district of Singapore on 01 October 2021.

News accounts (See below) indicate that he was caught beneath a container that was in the process of being unstacked by a container side loader (MT Handler].

What, exactly, the fatally injured worker was doing in a position that left him so incredibly vulnerable is left as a matter of great conjecture.
