With great regret, Blueoceana Company has been made to understand that a 59 year old Greek docker working at the Port of Thessaloniki suffered devastating injuries to his lower limbs in an apparent vehicular accident, which occurred while loading a vessel at that port yesterday.
He subsequently died of those injuries at a local hospital later in the day.
We have no further information at present, but have reached out to waterfront colleagues at Athens with the hope of learning more. Any additive information coming to us will be posted here in the form of an Update.
