Marine Terminal Worker Fatally Crushed Under Toploader’s Rear Wheels [Hai Phong, Vietnam – 05 June 2020]

As is often the case; for a number of reasons, news coming from many parts of the marine cargo handling world gets to us on an untimely basis. Such is the case in relation to news of a fatal accident which occurred on 05 June 2020 at the port of Hai Phong, Vietnam.

In that accident, a marine terminal worker known to us only as “Quyet” was apparently crushed under the rear wheels of a container top loader (See photo below). Moreover, we understand that two other workers standing nearby were seriously injured in the same incident.
