Port Worker Suffers Fatal Fall Into Ship’s Hold  [Laem Chabang, Thailand – 13 October 2019]

Late arriving information coming to Blueoceana Company relates that Mr. Sutham Rampan, 55, a dockworker at the port of Laem Chabang, Thailand, fell to his death aboard an unnamed general cargo vessel on the afternoon of 13 October 2019.

The sole (roughy translated) media account available (See link below), states that Mr. Rampan was at a hatch coaming providing signals to a crane operator when he fell approximately 20 meters (65.6 Feet) into the vessel’s hold.
