Hong Kong Flagged Bulker Allides With Wharf at Vietnamese Port [Vung Tau, Vietnam – 31 July 2019]

The geared bulker, M/V FAREAST HONESTY, allided with the wharf (at considerable speed) earlier today at Stevedoring Services of America’s leasehold in the port of Vung Tau, Vietnam.

The vessel hit the dock head-on, narrowly missing one of SSA’s container gantry cranes. We understand that no shoreside personnel were injured.
